A celebrant in Aberdeen for couples who want to laugh, love and legally tie the knot, I'm the girl to make your day memorable, fun and with meaning.

Wedding Planning I've had quite a few wedding enq Wedding PlanningI've had quite a few wedding enquiries over the last couple of months, so there will be lots of couples out there just getting started on planning their wedding day.And wedding planning can feel a bit like standing at the bottom of a mountain thinking, “Right… where do we even start?” 😅Good news, I’ve written a blog just for that exact moment that might help you.No overwhelm, no bossy lists, just simple ideas to help you take the first steps and actually enjoy the planning bit.Pop the kettle on, have a wee read, and breathe. You’ve got this 💛https://www.thecelebrantangel.com/how-to-start-planning-your-wedding/ I'll be back sharing some tips over the coming weeks #weddingplanning #weddingplanningjourney
Everyone talks about the ceremony, but THIS is whe Everyone talks about the ceremony, but THIS is where the real magic happens ✨They say it's all about the dress, but it's not really? It's about the giggles, the presseco toasts, and your best people zipping you up This is where the fun truly starts, in a room full of love, laughter, and probably someone hunting for earrings. The nervous excitement, the happy tears and those quiet moments before everything changes forever. It's the stolen glances in the mirror, the 'you look absolutely stunning' from your crew, and realising that in just a few hours, you'll be married to your person. This is where the magic happens. Where friendship shows up in a thousand little ways, and where the love story you've been writing together gets its most beautiful chapter yet. Here's to the prep, the process, and your crew who make it all unforgettable.#weddingparty #gettingweddingready #AllAboutTheGirls
Its Tied Not sure what was going on here this day Its TiedNot sure what was going on here this day at Shirley and Mike's wedding at Rufflets Hotel in St Andrews, back in October, but I'm pretty sure I was praying hard that the knot was gonna work. And it did, thankfully. I look a right cheeky wee monkey in these ones 😂#ruffletshotel #photosbyzoe #fifeweddings #handfastingceremony

A Stunning venue nestled on the River Dee, with lots of nooks and crannies for some fantastic photos., and shes a pretty creative lady.France’s hair on the day was done by the lovely Lauren from LP Creative_bridal hair. A young lady who always has a smile on her face and the brides hair looks amazing when shes done her bit on the big day.And just to finish Frances off with her makeover was Jenny Gray Bridal. Frances was absolutely glowing when she arrived up the aisle, her makeup was natural and suited her perfectly. On Photography was Emilie Gray, a new photographer to me and a lovely young lady. I’ve seen the sneaky peeks and they are gorgeous, she was chilled, which helps with the brides’ nerves on the day. In fact, everyone was so chilled that day it was lovely.I love a Christmas wedding, and Say I Do Wedding Décor had the place looking stunning for the couple. And the flowers, well they were stunning, from the walk down the aisle to the brides bouquet they were stunning. Katie at AngelK silk weddings always leaves an impression when shes doing the flowers, they were gorgeous, and Frances can look at them forever as they were silk. The we had Jim the DJ from Jmac, a name I’ve known for a long time in another world, was lovely to see him and have him do the music for the ceremony as well as the evening entertainment.#lpcreative_bridal #jmacdjhost #jennygraybridal #maryculterhouse #pamrenniecakedesign #_photographybyemilie #angelksilkweddings #sayidoweddings1

Hello 2026! 👋 I'm an RAF Child, which means I mov Hello 2026! 👋I'm an RAF Child, which means I moved around more than a game of musical chairs on fast-forward. But I've been in Aberdeen since I was 15 - which was a LONG time ago (we're not putting a number on that, thank you very much 😊).I'm a mum to two adult children and granny to 4 gorgeous grandkids, including 2-year-old twins who've decided granny's house is basically their second home. Or possibly their first home. The jury's out. Now, I love dogs and babies... though if I'm being brutally honest, the order changes depending on whether someone's just handed me a bar of Hotel Chocolat. That chocolate might just pip them all to the post on any given day. Don't judge me.I currently have two dogs, but I'm always open to more.So how did I end up as a celebrant?Well, I love writing with a good pen, and I mean a really good pen. I've searched high and low for the perfect ones, and yes, I found them. This obsession probably explains why I became a celebrant, because there's A LOT of writing involved.I also love getting to know people (handy for a celebrant, that). I'm a listener, so I pick up all those little titbits that make your ceremony actually about you. Plus, I'm a former PA, which means I'm skilled at taking notes without you even noticing. Sneaky, but effective.I spend proper time with each couple - getting to know you, hearing your story, having a laugh. It helps with those wedding day nerves, trust me. And I love a bit of cheek - I can usually sus out the cheeky one within five minutes. You know who you are. Here's the important bit: All my ceremonies are unique, just like my couples. No template scripts here. Copy-paste is for emails, not weddings. And the MOST important bit: I'm legally authorised to marry you.So if you fancy a ceremony that's actually yours, written by someone who might love chocolate slightly too much and definitely has a pen obsession, let's chat!

Hello, lovely wedding peeps 💛 There’s been a lot Hello, lovely wedding peeps 💛There’s been a lot of celebrant recommendation posts flying about lately, and it’s genuinely nice to see how much support there is on SM for both new and established celebrants.Recommendations are absolutely fab, and every one of us celebrants will tell you the same thing: choosing your celebrant is about more than just a name on a list.Choosing a celebrant is a bit like choosing your wedding outfit… Because this is about connection, not just recommendations. You can admire lots of lovely ones, but only one will make you think “aye, they feels like us.”You want someone who listens properly, puts you at ease, and makes planning your ceremony feel exciting rather than another thing on the to-do list.My best advice? Have the chat. If you come off the call smiling and thinking “that felt easy”, your gut’s probably onto something If you are still looking for a celebrant and want to have a chat, drop me a dm and we'll get that set up for you.#gettingmarried #newengaged #celebrantaberdeen
Time for a splash of colour 🌸 Have you seen outsi Time for a splash of colour 🌸Have you seen outside today? Brown, white, grey… and repeat.Anyone been out there in that snow yet? This part of winter always makes me crave a bit of joy, so naturally, I went rummaging through wedding memories instead.Enter: bouquets 💐Bright ones, soft ones, bold ones, moody ones. The kind that refuse to whisper and instead say, “look at me!”Over the last couple of years, I’ve seen all types of bouquets• real flowers• silk blooms• dried beautiesAnd honestly? Every single one was stunning.Your bouquet isn’t just flowers tied together; it’s a chance to show your personality, the season, and blend your colours into the ceremony. And on a day like today, I think we can all agree… weddings do colour much better than winter does. I cannot wait for spring.Have you picked your wedding bouquet yet? What are you having? Something bold and bright or something a bit quieter? Real or silk?#weddingbouquets #brideflowers #bridalbouquet #celebrantaberdeen

Reflections Nails are done, food prep ready, hous ReflectionsNails are done, food prep ready, house cleaned, all ready for Santa now 😁As the year winds down, I’ve been having a little reflect… usually while wondering how I’ve managed to talk for a living and still get emotional every single time. This year I’ve stood at the front of weddings full of love, laughter, happy tears, deep breaths, and the occasional “oh no, where are the rings?”.I’ve battled wind, weather, enthusiastic dogs, and that one gust that always turns pages at exactly the wrong moment.I’ve watched couples laugh through nerves, cry through vows, and choose each other in perfectly imperfect ways, which, honestly, is my favourite kind.I’ve been trusted with stories, families, and moments that only happen once… and I’ll never take that lightly (even when I’m gently teasing a groom or calming a wobbly bride). This year reminded me that ceremonies don’t need to be fancy or flawless; they just need to feel real. And I've spent a lot of 2025 laughing along with my couplesA bit of laughter helps.A lot of love helps more. And if something goes slightly wrong, it usually makes the best memory anyway. To every couple who trusted me, every family who welcomed me, and every supplier who became a pal, thank you.You made my year full of heart, humour, and a fair bit of joyful chaos. With 2 weddings to go this weekend to finish off my 2025 diary, it's been a fantastic year. Not sure the family will see much of me in 2026 when i look at the diary, but I get to do lots more of what I love with fantastic couples, venues and vendors. Here’s to love, laughter, and whatever next year decides to throw at us
