Scott and France’s Christmas Wedding at Maryculter Hotel

When Scott and Frances tied the knot, they made one thing crystal clear from the start: this was never going to be a stuffy affair.

Instead, they planned and pulled off their entire wedding in just six months.

From there, the focus was simple,  love, laughter, and celebrating with the people they love most.

Then came one of my favourite moments: instead of a traditional ring handover, Scott and Frances hid the rings under guests’ seats.

As a result, two very lucky attendees got the honour of bringing them forward, turning a special moment into a shared bit of wedding magic.

Maryculter House, 27th December 2025

Maryculter House was the venue for Scott and France’s wedding.

One of the oldest wedding venues in Aberdeen.

The room was set out beautifully in green and white.

It was the perfect setting for their big day and the rain stopped right in time for the photos.

Scott and Frances’s ceremony struck the perfect balance between heartfelt and playful… exactly as they’d asked.

They chose to keep their vows private, sharing a deeply personal moment that belonged to just the two of them.

Then, with  emotions high, they walked back up the aisle as Mr and Mrs Onder to thunderous applause, more than ready for that very first drink as husband and wife.
