Whats not to like

Barra Barn is a stunning all-inclusive wedding venue in Aberdeenshire.

Barra Barnt sits in beautiful countryside and is only minutes from Inverurie.

You might think, is it the berries/icre cream place?

You would be right. So berries for pudding might be perfect.

Picture starting your wedding day with a cone filled with your favourite flavour while you stroll through your setup and check everything before you step into your dress.

My partner would pick this as the dream start to his own wedding day.

Barra Barn stays open all year, and the wood burning stove keeps the space warm for winter weddings.

The ceremony area includes a dedicated bar built with copper and whiskey staves. It brings a clean, stylish look to the room.

Barra Barn hosts one wedding per day, so you get the whole place to yourself.

Inside or out?

If you want an outdoor ceremony but worry about the weather, Barra Barn gives you options.

You choose indoors, outdoors, or a mix.

Every time I held a wedding there, the sun turned up, and the photos looked brilliant.

Don’t break the bank

Not got many guests coming?

That’s not a problem either. The space at Barra Barn is flexible, so you can tailor the size of the room to just what you need. How cool is that?

On a budget and worried about drink prices? Don’t be.

Barra Barn is happy for you to bring your own drinks, and the big bonus is they don’t charge corkage either, not many wedding venues around here do that.

You also get to choose your own catering company, but the team at Barra Barn know all the local suppliers, so they can help you find the perfect caterer for your wedding day.

They also know lots of other local suppliers, so will be able to give you some suggestions on vendors for décor and cakes etc.

Don’t think I’ve made it to the vendor list yet, but you know where I am anyway 😊

Sleep over

Wanting a sleepover the night before? That’s taken care of at Barra Barn too.

They have 3 lodges in the grounds of Barra Castle, right next door to the venue which have been modernised and are stunning inside.
