Maryculter House Hotel – Aberdeen Wedding Venue
One of the oldest wedding venues in Aberdeen
The Maryculter House Hotel is steeped in history and nestled on the banks of the river Dee.
Are you just starting out planning your wedding and looking for the right the venue?
We’ll let me take you to a venue that’s perfect for weddings indoor or out.
What could be more romantic than saying ‘I do’ in a courtyard on the beautiful banks of the River Dee? The views are stunning.
I had the pleasure of officiating quite a few ceremonies at The Maryculter House Hotel in 2023 and 2024.
Let me tell you a bit about The Maryculter House Hotel.
A beautiful hotel, with lots of nooks and crannies
Lots of choice
Mryculter House Hotel is a stunning wedding venue in Aberdeen, suitable for small, intimate weddings or larger weddings.
It’s full of little nooks and crannies, perfect for some stunning wedding photos.
There is a stunning indoor area for ceremonies and the beautiful courtyard if the weather was kind enough to allow you outside.

The Templar suite
The Templar Suite can accommodate up to 160 for your wedding ceremony and up to 200 for an evening reception.
Its lovely and bright and sits on the courtyard with a view to the river, a stunning spot to stan and deliver a wedding ceremony.
The Courtyard
What could be nicer than sitting outside in the sun on the banks of the River Dee listening to our favourite people getting married.
And whilst 2024 has seen many of the ceremonies at Marycutler House Hotel indoors because of the awful weather we’ve had, its still nice to know you can actually have it outdoors in the courtyard weather permitting

Sleepovers
The Mryculter House Hotel has 40 bedrooms, so the wedding party and some of the guests can be accommodated there too if need be.
The Maryculter House Hotel is the perfect spot for weddings of all sizes in Aberdeen that I would highly recommend
And if your not getting married but fancy your tea out, well the food is amazing there to.
And whilst your there you could check out the ceremony area.
Tell them Mary (aka The Celebrant Angel) sent you
Of course, you will need a celebrant to create a unique ceremony for you on the day, too, so pop over for a chat and let’s see if your date is free in my diary.
