March 2024 saw me doing a wedding at Ardoe House Hotel, famous for weddings, although it’s been a long time since I was out there.

It’s a 19th-century Baronial mansion, which is stunning and retains a lot of its original decor.

The Ardoe House Hotel is situated about three miles from the city centre of Aberdeen, sitting in some stunning countryside

The hotel is set within 30 acres, a place of peace and tranquillity.

The Ardoes House Hotel is known for its distinctive turrets, towers, and steeply pitched roofs typical of the Scottish baronial style.

A variety of function rooms

Whether ou decide to celebrate within these impressive walls or have a summer wedding out on the glorious lawns, you can bet the setting’s gonna be just perfect.

There are a bunch of elegant function suites to choose from where to hold your wedding ceremony.

Crathes/Craigievar Suites, Elliot suite which can hold up to 70 guests, the Fraser Suite which can hold up to 70 guests, Kildrummy, and the Ogston suite which can hold up to 180 guests.

There are also some beautiful lawns in front of the hotel where you could hold an outdoor ceremony if the weather was kind that day.
