Manor House – Aberdeenshire Wedding Venue

May 2025 marked my first visit to Manar House, a stunning wedding venue located a few miles from Aberdeen.

Are you just starting out planning your wedding and looking for the right venue?

We’ll let me take you to a venue that’s perfect for weddings – Manar Huuse in Inverurie.

Set within 65 Acres of gardens, woodlands and pastures you’ll be spoilt for choice for breathtaking views, walks and picnic spots.

Exclusive use hire includes your very own Butler service and the option to add on a private chef for your stay. 

So let me tell you a bit more about having a wedding at Manar House.

Tucked away in the heart of the Don Valley, between the River Don and the watchful gaze of Bennachie, you’ll find the beautiful Manar House

A grand Georgian mansion surrounded by 65 acres of peaceful countryside.

Think manicured lawns, sweeping parkland, ancient woodland, and a real sense of calm.

The house has been lovingly restored and is now available for exclusive-use events, and celebrations.

There are also five-star, self-catering guest suites on-site, with enough rooms for up to 20 adults across 10 stylish bedrooms.

So there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy.

The Ceremony Room 

The indoor ceremony room is gorgeous.

It’s nice and light, holding 40-50 perfectly, and overlooks part of the gardens filled with flowers.

The smell wafts into the room as your watching the ceremony.

You could of course, have your ceremony outdoors at Manar House, there’s plenty of outdoor space to choose from.

The Dining Room

The dining room is amazing, i love this long table layout for a smaller party.

And with windows on both sides, it lets in lots of natural light.

You could have your tables laid out differently as it’s quite a large room, but I love this layout and Craig and Helen had for their guests.

That Staircase

I hear you, thats a huge Wow from me to.

The staircase at Manar House is the first thing you see when you walk in.

Imagine how you would feel coming down that to meet your partner, it is absolutely stunning.

And the perfect spot for lots of cracking photos of you, your new hubby/wife and your family.

Manar House is the perfect spot for the more intimate weddings in Aberdeen/shire that I would highly recommend.
