Sarah and Russell’s Wedding
Sarah and Russell’s ceremony at Crathes Castle was an intimate and heartfelt celebration
The ceremony included a beautiful tribute to their son Harry, acknowledging the strength and resilience
that brought them through their darkest days, and celebrated the joy that little George has brought into their lives.

The Rose Garden, Crathes Castle - 24th August 2025
The Rose Garden at Crathes Castle was the setting for Sarah and Russell’s wedding ceremony.
The perfect spot, on an ideal weather day, for a very intimate ceremony. If you’ve never been to The Rose Garden I’d recommend a wee trip out, it’s perfect for the smaller ceremonies.

ceremony
Sarah and Russell’s wedding ceremony was very intimate, just 7 people, exactly what they wanted.
Sarah and Russell trusted me to write and deliver words about their son Harry without seeing it before the day, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house and I’m so grateful I got to be part of their big day.
Feedback
Very happy about choosing Mary as our celebrant!
Open, approachable and understanding of any emotions we have leading up to our ceremony.
Made us feel at ease and happy to help with any questions we may have had!
Felt so at ease on our special day.
