Winter Gardens – Wedding Venue Aberdeen.
every wedding should be as unique and special as the couple
Have you been to a wedding in The Winter Gardens in Duthie Park before?
If you haven’t it might be there perfect spot for your wedding venue.
So let me tell you about another wedding venue in Aberdeen that I’ve done weddings at – The Winter Gardens.
A central spot in the middle of Aberdeen.
A stunning little spot with colours and smells that will flood your senses.
If you’re an outdoor kinda person but don’t want to risk the weather in Aberdeen, then this could be the perfect spot for you.
it’s like being in a tropical rain forest
Getting married amongst nature
Ever been in the winter gardens at Duthie Park?
Did you know you can get married in there, with a celebrant obviously.
But what a lovely spot for a ceremony.
I’ve done 2 ceremonies here, both turned out to be the hottest days of the year and we were roasting.
Thank fully a ceremony is only about 30 mins so we didn’t have to stand around in the heat to long.
Picture perfect
Oh, but it was beautiful.
It’s not private per se, but it’s blocked off, so the general public can’t get into the little bit where they do ceremonies, but they can see your wedding if they wander up to the barrier.
That might be an issue for some couples.
But the smell and colour of the plants around you in this area are so beautiful and make for a stunning background for photos.
It’s a truly magical place for couples looking for a unique and beautiful backdrop for their special day, especially those on a budget.
If you’re on a budget the costs to hire the ceremony area are amazing.
And you can even hire the gardens for you’re wedding photos without having your ceremony there.
You can check them out on the link to their site below.
Do it your way
The wedding area in The Winter Gardens has seating available for up to 70 guests – 50 in the main ceremony area and 20 in the upper level of the ceremony area.
If you’re looking for a non-traditional wedding, then this is your spot.
No formalities, no rigid customs – just a couple revelling in their love for each other, celebrating their wedding in a way that is uniquely them.
So, if you are looking for a wedding venue that in the centre of town, that’s not going to break the bank, then to take a wonder round The Winter Gardens in Duthie Park and see for yourself
