David and Olena’s Winter Garden Wedding
David and Olena’s wedding was a multicultural wedding with David from Scotland and Olena from Ukraine.
It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family.
We had a Rushnyk for them to stand on, which is a Ukrainian wedding tradition, and Olean’s mother had embroidered the Rushnyk herself, so a part of her family was included in the day.

Winter Gardens Aberdeen, 21st March 2026
Winter Gardens in Aberdeen was the venue for David and Olena’s wedding ceremony.
The gardens looked stunning, with lots of colour around us. The birds were singing, and the sun was out, so it was nice and cosy.
A gorgeous venue for a smaller wedding.

ceremony
David and Olena’s wedding was a celebration of their new lives together.
A ceremony with love and laughter in it, as well as a few emotional tears.
They had a handfasting as a nod to the Scottish side, as well as the Rushnyk
